London, Melcombe Place

Tucked away in the Grade II  listed  grandeur of Marylebone Station, TOG has restored  Melcombe  Place  to its  former glory. Melcombe Place sits just above the concourse of Marylebone station. Refurbished in 2019 in collaboration with SHED architects, the contemporary Work Space has plenty of spaces for you to retreat to during your working day. With subtle railway references dotted throughout - choose between the corridor ‘carriage booth’, or the recharge room complete with a hanging chair.

Designed in the ‘Wrenaissance’ style of English Baroque and opened in 1899, Marylebone Station is an often-overlooked gem in London’s Victorian railway network. The modest two-story red brick and cream stone building is packed with period details, such as terracotta finishes and Dutch gables. Working alongside the TOG design team, SHED architects created an interior that connects with the historic building while adding contemporary touches such as focus booths, acoustically treated phone rooms and varied spaces to retreat and recharge.

With an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars and retail, Marylebone is one of London’s most popular neighborhoods. Melcombe Place combines a quiet  pace with convenient connections – having an office in the iconic station not only puts your company on the map, but also provides a quick escape route out of the city.
