Just above Waterloo Station sits Scott House – a calming Work Space with direct access from the main concourse. Working with Ben Adams Architects, we breathed life back into some of the original features of this hidden gem. The result is a relaxing environment inspired by traditional Japanese minimalism, with a large lounge, plentiful natural light and muted colours.
Steeped in history, Scott House’s original building dates back to the construction of Waterloo station’s Victory Arch entrance. A memorable location, it’s easy to find, accessible via the original grand wooden doorway on the concourse itself.
With Lower Marsh Market just around the corner – and the quirky shops, cafes and pubs that sit on the same road – you can take full advantage of the buzz of central London with plenty of places to visit for lunch or team celebrations. For a dose of culture at the end of the day, the Old Vic, National Theatre and IMAX are all on your doorstep.
The variety of collaboration spaces, proximity to and direct concourse access from Waterloo station makes Scott House the ideal location to meet and connect with clients and colleagues. Featuring meeting rooms fit for up to 20 people, focus booths for individual work and a spacious lounge for informal catch ups.
Dating back to the construction of the Victory Arch in 1919-1922, our team worked with Ben Adams Architects to take advantage of the building’s original features. When you enter the lobby at Scott House, you can make your way upstairs using the stunning two-tone marble staircase, carefully restored to its original glory.
